Jake Ryan is a character on Disney s Hannah Montana Show. Like Miley Stewart, he attends school at Seaview and is a star. Unlike Miley, he does not hide his star status so, all the students and teachers give him star status and treat him differently from the other students. In the episode, New Kid In School , Ryan makes his first appearance, and everyone in the school is star struck except, Miley, of course. Miley gets into trouble for doing the same things that Jake has done, and she decides that maybe she should let everyone know that she is Hannah Montana and she will be treated special, which is actually what she doesn t want. But, seeing someone else get the treatment that she has denied herself makes her think about changing her mind in the end, though, her identity remains a secret.
 
 
 
 In the episode, More Than A Zombie To Me , Jake asks Miley to the school dance and she turn him down. But, when Hannah Montana makes a special appearance on Jake s television show, she realizes that she really likes him. In the meantime, Jake has asked Lilly to the dance, and she accepts. Miley does not like the fact that Lilly is going to the dance with Jake even though Miley claimed to hate him and she is mean to her best friend. While guest starring on Jake s television show, Miley finds out there is a kissing scene and she doesn t want to do it. But when she realizes that she actually does like Jake, she wants to do the kissing scene.
